Always wanted the challenge of driving a real V8 6-speed manual around a V8 Super Car race track? Then this is for you! Tackle the many challenges race drivers face and experience V8 driving at its best by getting into the driver's seat of a V8 Super Challenge race car for laps around the track - plus three flat out hot laps!

Adventure Description

The V8 Super Drive & Ride Plus offers you the opportunity to drive a V8 VX 6-speed manual Commodore or Monaro track car around some of Australia's best motor racing circuits.

Your experience will begin with instruction from the professional team of race drivers. Then, once you have changed into your racing attire and helmet, you will then be taken out onto the track with your professional driver for sighting laps in a road car. These sighting laps will allow you to get a feel for the track.

Ready? Now its your turn to get in the driver seat for 10 or 12 laps (depending on track) around the Circuit. This is what you've been waiting for! And once you're done your driving session, swap with your driver and then be treated to three hot laps around the track with the professional at the wheel. You will be shown what these cars are really capable of! Don’t forget to hold on!

These V8 race cars are all current purpose built circuit race cars, to ensure they are driver friendly, with superior handling and braking capacity. With a 6 speed gearbox and around 400 horsepower under the bonnet this is the closest thing you'll get to driving a real V8 Supercar.

All cars are fitted with German world renowned Bilsteen Shocks and struts for maximum handling performance, have adjustable ride height, tubular lower control arms and adjustable caster bars fitted with hime joints for incredible handling performance. They are also fitted with full race exhaust, and brakes - the same as those used on V8 Supercars - AP Racing or Harrop 6 spot calipers using 375mm rotors, which provides exceptional handling and grip. The safety cell uses chrome moly and is designed for maximum protection and strength, reinforcing the body shell.
