The Thunderdome at Calder Park is the only Superspeedway Oval Race Track outside the USA. You will experience the thrill of 24 degree banks of the Thunderdome with Australian Champion Marshall Brewer and his team. Marshall’s motorsport experience goes back to the 1970’s, originally racing Open Class Group C Touring Cars (now known as V8 Supercars). He retired from motorsport until 1988, when he started racing in the new form of motorsport in Australia - Superspeedway.
The stable of race cars includes 5 Monaro AUSCAR race cars and 5 NASCAR race cars. AUSCAR race cars are Holden Monaros - but very different experience to your average street car. Hang on!
Your experience includes:
• Instruction from the professional team of race drivers
• Provision of racing attire
• Observation laps as a passenger prior to driving the race car, so get a feel for the track
• A 15 minutes session of YOUR driving an AUSCAR race car
• Then 4 thrilling laps as a passenger in the AUSCAR race car with a professional at the wheel
• Certificate with photograph, autographed by your driver
• Sausage/hamburger sizzle for yourself and one friend
