What types of Vouchers do you have?
We’re all about choice! We have two kinds of eXcapades vouchers available, depending on whether you wish to choose an specific experience, or let the voucher recipient choose their own experience.
Experience Voucher – If you know exactly what you/they want
An Experience Voucher is for a specific experience from our range – eg Rally Driving. Experience vouchers are valid for six months from the date of purchase and can be personalised with the recipients name and a message.
Gift Voucher – If you are not sure what they make like
A Gift Voucher is for any denomination amount you choose – eg $250 - which can be used towards any experience in the eXcapades range. Gift vouchers can be used to purchase multiple items, or if the selected experience/s is higher than the voucher denomination, the recipient can make payment towards the remaining amount. Gift vouchers are valid for twelve months from the date of purchase and can be personalised with the recipients name and a message. The minimum denomination is $50.
Vouchers are simply delivered via email, or can Express Posted in our eXcapades Gift Pack for presentation. For more information on Delivery Methods see “How will my voucher be delivered?” below.
A tax invoice is issued for all purchases, and payment can be made by credit card, cheque or direct deposit. For more information on Payment Methods see “What methods of payment do you accept?” below.
How do I purchase a voucher?
You can order your eXcapades Vouchers in three ways.
Online
Ordering via our website 24 hours a day is quick, easy and secure. Simply browse our experience range to select the experience/s of your choice and click the Add to Cart/Purchase button. The item will be added to your Shopping Cart. Enter the quantity of vouchers you wish to buy and click the Update button.
If you would like to purchase two or more different experiences, click the Continue Shopping button to add further items to your Shopping Cart. You can delete items or clear the cart at any time using the appropriate buttons.
When you are happy with your selections, click the Check Out button. If you are already an eXcapades member, simply enter your email address and nominated password to log in. If you have not purchased from eXcapades previously, you will be asked to enter your details to create an account with us.
Then just follow the steps through the Check Out process, assigning each voucher by entering your preferred Delivery Method, Voucher Recipient Name and Delivery Details. Select your payment method and you’re done! You will be sent a tax invoice following your purchase.

What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept payment by Credit Card, Cheque/Money Order and Direct Deposit. A Tax Invoice will be sent to your nominated email address following your purchase.
Accepted Credit Cards are Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We use the NAB Secure Internet Payments System to process online Credit Card payments.
Cheque/Money Orders can be sent to the address on the emailed Tax Invoice. Please be sure to enclose a copy of the Tax Invoice so we can identify your payment. Your voucher will be dispatched by your preferred delivery method as soon as your funds have cleared – typically 5 – 7 working days.
Direct Deposit details can also be found on the emailed Tax Invoice. Please be sure to use your Tax Invoice number as your reference number and send us copy of the your deposit receipt so we can identify your payment. Your voucher will be dispatched by your preferred delivery method as soon as your funds have cleared – typically 1 – 3 working days.
Are my payment details secure?
Your privacy and security is very important to us. We use the NAB Secure Internet Payments System to process online Credit Card payments. This is a secure site, as identified by the ‘closed padlock’ icon at the bottom of your screen.
The eXcapades website utilizes Secure Sockets Layers (SSL) technology, whereby your private information is encrypted and safely stored on our database equipped with the latest in security hardware and software. All our servers are equipped with firewalling and intrusion detection to prevent unauthorised access. Only authorised personnel have access to your information in order to process your order.
How will my voucher be delivered?
We have three delivery methods for eXcapades vouchers.
Email Delivery: Need the voucher in the hurry? For immediate delivery we can deliver your voucher to you via email straight to you inbox. You can even print the voucher and put it in your own card. Email delivery is free of charge.
Express Post: For something special, select Express Post delivery. We will send you an eXcapades Gift Pack including a colour printed voucher with the recipients name and your personal message, plus an experience information sheet, all in a great gift envelope ready for presentation. The Gift Pack will be dispatched by Express Post and vouchers ordered before midday will be delivered the following working day*. Express Post Gift Pack delivery costs just $10 per voucher.
First Class Courier: Want the Gift Pack extra quick? For the most secure delivery option we can deliver your eXcapades Gift Pack by First Class Courier. We can deliver to Australian capital cities and some surrounding suburbs at the cost of $30 per voucher. Next day delivery.
Vouchers can only be dispatched when full payment has been received.

I ordered my voucher for Email Delivery but have not received it yet?
Email Delivery vouchers are dispatched immediately upon your payment being processed. Sometimes eXcapades vouchers can be blocked by your email security settings and deemed to be a ‘junk’ or ‘spam’ message. Check your Junk or Bulk mail folder too see if may be caught there.
To prevent this from occurring, please add our email address info@excapades.com.au to your safe list. Contact us on 1300 765 688 and we will be happy to resend your voucher to you.
How long are vouchers valid for?
eXcapades experience vouchers for a specific experience eg Rally Driving, are valid for six months from the date of purchase.
eXcapades gift vouchers for denomination amounts are valid for twelve months from the date of purchase.
You must book and participate in your experience by the expiry date.
Are there any other charges for my voucher?
Your total order pricing will be show in the Check Out. This will include the experience/s price, delivery charges (if applicable) and a single $5 booking fee - no matter how many vouchers your order in one transaction. The booking fee covers eXcapades costs such payment transactions and administrative tasks to provide your experience from voucher delivery through to the day you participate.
For a small number of experiences, the experience supplier will also need to charge a fee for items not included in the voucher cost - such as licencing, fuel levies etc etc. These charges will be outlined in the Participant Conditions of your experience and are payable to the supplier directly. Items such as photographs, DVD footage etc, if not included in your package, are optional items that you can also purchase from the supplier on the day if you wish.
Can I refund/transfer/exchange/extend my voucher?
eXcapades Experience and Gift Vouchers are strictly non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash, under any circumstance.

Each experience description on our website includes participant conditions eg Height, Weight and Health restrictions. When purchasing it is your responsibility to ensure that the voucher recipient is able to participate as per these conditions. If you are unsure, please contact us before purchasing.
If you are not sure what the gift recipient would like, purchase a Gift Voucher to any denomination amount and let them choose their own suitable experience.
How do I redeem my vouchers/book my experience?
All the instructions on how to redeem your voucher and book your experience are found on your voucher.
Experience Voucher
Simply go to our website www.excapades.com.au and find the “Redeem Voucher” section. Enter your unique voucher redemption code as printed on your voucher in the appropriate box and click Redeem Voucher. Your voucher details will verified and you can then enter your three preferred dates for the experience. You will also need to enter your contact telephone number, email address, and any comments you would like to send to the experience supplier.
Once you have submitted your preferred dates the experience supplier with contact you directly to discuss your booking, typically within 48 hours. If you do not hear from your supplier in that time, please contact them directly on the phone number supplied on the email you have received on the email “You have successfully redeemed your voucher!” If you still unable to contact the experience supplier, please call us and we will contact them for you.
Gift Voucher

How do I use my Gift Voucher with a dollar amount?
All the instructions on how to use your Gift Voucher and book your experience are found on your voucher.
Gift Vouchers can be used just like cash. Just like any store gift voucher, you can purchase multiple experiences to make up your voucher amount, or even purchase an experience/s above your voucher amount and contribute your own additional funds.
Simply select the experience/s you wish and purchase as you normally would an experience voucher. (For instructions on how to purchase see “How do I purchase a voucher?” above.) When you reach the Payment section of the Check Out, select ‘Excapades Gift Voucher’ as your method of payment., enter the voucher number and click ‘Assign Voucher’. The voucher amount will be credited to you purchase.
Please be aware that the voucher can only be used in one transaction, and any funds not used in the one transaction will be forfeit.
What if I have to change or cancel my experience booking?
Once you have made your experience booking, your experience will be managed by the experience supplier. If you have made your experience booking but are unable to attend your adventure on the scheduled date, you need to contact your experience supplier direct.
You should do this a minimum of 48 hours prior to your experience, however each experience supplier has their own change/cancellation policy that you are subject to. You may be liable to pay for cancellation charges, and, risk losing your voucher if your place is unable to be filled by the supplier on the day, as per these conditions. If you are unsure, please contact your experience supplier direct directly on the phone number supplied on the email you have received on the email “Get ready for your eXcapades adventure/gift!!”

What if my experience booking was changed/cancelled by the experience supplier?
Many eXcapades experiences could be affected by weather conditions. If you’re unsure whether your adventure will be affected on the day, please check with your experience supplier who will be able to advise you. Some suppliers will ask that you call the day before or the morning of your experience to confirm conditions are suitable.
If your experience is cancelled by your supplier due to weather or any other unforeseen circumstances, every effort will be made to offer you a suitable replacement date. Contact your experience supplier to discuss this alternate date.
What are the available dates of my experience?
Where possible, we list information about the availability of each experience, and an indication of how far in advance you should book, in the experience listing. This could be in the form of operating days - eg 7 days a week - or, in some cases, in the form of actual dates - eg 19 March.
Any dates we list on our web site are an indication only and must be confirmed by the supplier following your voucher redemption. While we try to keep them as up to date as possible, there may be some instances where the dates you request have been sold out or cancelled by the supplier directly without our knowledge. Some experiences are very popular and can sell out in a matter of days.
When redeeming your voucher you will be asked to enter three preferred dates. We recommend you enter at least two dates if possible, and allow at least a weeks notice, unless otherwise indicated in the experience listing. If the date you have requested is not available, the supplier will do their best to book you for the next available date that suits you.
